An Average Day As An IT Worker
I am a rather fortunate person as I am in a career that I enjoy. What's more I work for a top quality company - a company that offers superb IT support London and computer support London and a company that certainly treats its employers, such as myself, very well. I am an IT worker and I have been working in this industry for the last decade. In this article I will be writing about one of my typical working days.
6.20am - This is the time my alarm bell sounds. Some of you might think that this is very early however I am very much a morning person. My 9 year old son also wakes up at this time of the day and it is great to spend some quality time with him before I head off to work.
7.00am - I start the thirty minute commute, by car to work.
7.30am - I arrive at the office and start by making myself a much needed tea!
7.35am - I check all of my e-mails and prepare my "to do" list for the day.
9.45am - I have a quick meeting with the management team. This is where we may discuss future strategies - these include how to make the whole process a more efficient one for our many customers. If there are any new products that have been introduced to us these will also be discussed at this "get together".
11am - I head off to meet a new customer to discuss their requirements and the way our company could service those needs.
1.30pm - I arrive back in the office to process all of the orders that I have successfully completed thus far in the day. We are very efficient at processing these orders as we like to ensure that our products arrive on a next day basis.
2.30pm - Another check over my e-mails.
3.00pm - I contact any customers via the telephone who have left me a message on my mobile phone whilst I have been in my various meetings.
4.00pm - Time to head back home to my lovely family.
Yet another top quality day!
