Unlimited messaging to any carrier is 20.00 a month extra on a single line calling plan if you are on a family share plan its .00 extra a month that’s for everyone on the plan to have unlimited messaging

for 500 to any other carrier and unlimited to other Verizon
for 1500 and unlimited to Verizon
.00 for 5000 and unlimited to Verizon
its cheaper if you get unlimited and you dont have to worry about going over, but i never had verizon tho but i dont think they have the real unlimited messaging like at&t
